Floyd Fitness offers a variety of fitness, health, & movement classes – not just your typical aerobics classes. We have a beautiful new classroom filled with natural light from skylights. Our class offerings vary slightly from month to month, and we are always looking for new classes to try. We like hearing from the community. What kind of classes are you looking for? What time frame suits you the best? Do you have health or fitness experience that you would like to share?


Most classes follow the Floyd County public school closing schedule for weather-related cancellations.

Check with your instructor for the policy for each class, and feel free to call the gym 'day of' to confirm.

Bodies in Motion

Instructor Jeanie O'Neill. Cardio, strength, toning balance, and flexibility. Ongoing, join anytime - Mondays and Thursdays, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Gentle Yoga

Certified yoga instructor, Susan Goranson. Meets every Thursday morning. For Seniors and down!

6-class punchcard is $50 members | $12 drop-in rate (per class)


Adults Martial Arts Class

with Dan Porter. Adult Mixed martial arts, Chinese, Hawaiian and American Free Style; Physical conditioning, Sparring/kick boxing; Jiu Jitsu, boxing, Tai boxing, Ages 13 and up. Private classes on Wednesday. 989-5640; $75 per month.


Dance Aerobics

with Chrissy Mandzak - EVERYONE WELCOME! "High-Impact Cardio" Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

$5 per class


Spinning Class

A great way to burn calories, tone-up and increase cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. The class will include a comprehensive warmup, invigorating workout and a relaxing cool down. Instructor Rowan Chantal
